My understanding is that it does not use portland sewer or police and contracts with the sherifs department and PFB for services. It maintains its streets and public amenities through its own seperate HOA's/taxes and pays into public school services. WebWith just over 300 homes and a population well under 1,000, Maywood Park doesn’t feel like a typical city. While it has a city council and a mayor, it lacks its own police force and fire department.
